This natural dish soap recipe is a simple, non-toxic alternative to store-bought dish liquid. Made with Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds and water, it cuts grease effectively, comes together in minutes, and can be lightly scented with essential oils if desired. Equipment

  • Glass soap pump jar (or foaming soap jar)

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds
  • 2 cups Water
  • 5-10 drops Essential Oils (optional)

Instructions

  • Pour the water into a clean 16 oz soap pump jar.
  • Add the Sal Suds to the water.
  • If using essential oils, add them now.
  • Secure the pump and gently swirl to combine.
  • Use immediately or store until needed.
  • If you use a smaller dispenser at the sink, store the extra soap in a glass jar (like a mason jar) and refill as needed.
